Ben
I like a challenge. Tell me something’s impossible and I’ll make it happen. From our very first meeting it’s obvious the Bachelor Tower’s newest female addition doesn’t think I’m her type. When I’m asked to distract her from the politics of the building, she tells me I have no chance with her.
Proving her wrong will be fun and might just take us to the brink of love.
I ask her to trust me, but I’m not prepared for what she shares when she does.
Kylie
My life was following a set plan before he comes into it and turns everything upside down. Sure, he’s sexy as hell with a smile that can melt any heart—but I can’t afford to make another mistake. In my experience, the only people who can hurt me are the ones I let in.
He says he’s different, that he understands me.
He says that until I show him who I really am.
Then love is. . .impossible?

In Impossible Bachelor (The Bachelor Tower #2) by Ruth Cardello, when Ben is asked to do a favor for a friend, he's not sure whether he'll be able to up to the task. However, getting Kylie to spend time with him isn't easy. Not when she's been burned by a past relationship, believes the men that live in the building where she's currently living are all evil and will do anything to show them they're not invincible. Yet, Ben isn't one to give up and he's determined to show Kylie how to relax and have fun. Will Ben be able to win Kylie over or will they lose their shot at happy ever after?
I love the concept of this series where only men once lived in an apartment building and now women are starting to live there and the men are unhappy and this second book of Ms. Cardello's Bachelor Tower series was just as marvellous as book one. Right from the beginning, I was drawn into this story because of the favor someone asks of Ben and whether he would agree. However, it was from the moment the hero and heroine come face-to-face for the first time where things really get interesting, as Kylie has been burned by a man before and she's not very trusting when it comes to men. Will she give Ben a chance?
With the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories, but I loved the playful banter between Ben and Kylie, as he does everything he can to win her over while Kylie provides him quite the challenge. Moreover, the heroine was resilient, courageous and I liked how far she's come since she was burned by someone she thought cared for her. She's also a total powerhouse when it comes to business and will do anything to come out on top, which is proven by far how she's willing to go to show the men living in Bachelor Tower that they don't want to mess with her and her sister. Yet, what I liked most of all about the heroine is that she liked the way Ben made her feel because she didn't want to turn out like her 'workaholic and I-care-only-about-business' mother. Someone so focused on her business that she doesn't have time for those she loves.

While the hero, he's done well for himself and I liked that he showed Kylie how different he was to the man that broke her heart. I also liked the hero's confidence and his determination to get Kylie to have fun, which is proven by the things they do. Yet, what I liked most of all about the hero is the tight friendships he shared with some of the secondary characters and the way they tease him when it comes to his nickname; and also how protective he was of the heroine because what she's doing could turn dangerous if anyone found out about her obsession with winning and what she's doing to show the men in the building that they're not invincible like they think they are.
Overall, Ms. Cardello has delivered an absolutely fantastic and riveting read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was strong and grew stronger the more time they spent together; the romance was wonderful and had me glad that Kylie took a chance on Ben; and the ending had me loving the decisions these two made to get their happy ever after. No way could Kylie continue as she was, especially if she didn't want to turn out like her mother while Ben was determined to prove to Kylie that she's the one for him. I would recommend Impossible Bachelor by Ruth Cardello, if you enjoy the opposites attract trope or books by authors JS Scott, Melody Anne, Marie Force and Melissa Foster.

Ruth
Cardello hit the NYTs and USA Today for the first time back in 2012. Millions

What Kindle
Reviewers write about her:
"Wow
hot at every page. Heart stoping, fear raging, mind blowing wonderful."
"I'm a
true fan of Ms. Cardello. I ran on to her first book a few years back and have
been hooked ever since. I could go on and on about the story line of this book,
but I'm not. All of her books are total page turners, unique, heart wrenching,
and I love them all. There isn't two alike in the bunch and I feel like I know
the characters personally. I personally read 97 authors books. And I buy every
book they put out. This author is in my top 10. Great job and keep them
coming."
"Love
this series. Got me to start reading again. I look forward to the next book.
Thank you for giving me the love of reading back."
Ruth
Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode
Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from
her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then
came full circle and moved back to New England. She now happily lives one town
over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather
and international scene.
She was an
educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school
district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love-
writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her
chasing her children around her small farm or connecting with her readers online.
