In Wildest Dreams (Sweetbriar Cove #7) by Melody Grace, Paige Bennett wants adventure and bad boy Declan Nash is just the man to give it to her. However, what is supposed to be a fling soon becomes so much more for Paige. Yet, knowing that Declan doesn't want forever after, will Paige be able to convince him differently or will she get her heart broken by the man she's fallen in love with?
Having loved the previous books of this series and being introduced to Paige in book six, I couldn't wait to read more about the play-it-safe, I-want-my-dreams-to-come-true heroine because she sounded interesting and I've got to say that this book was absolutely engaging and a story I loved from start to finish. Not only because was Paige a great character, but so was Declan. They have so much chemistry, which is there from the moment they meet and I loved how Paige surprised him in that moment.
With the dialogue, it was entertaining from start to finish due to the main characters back stories and the playful banter between the pair, as Declan is quite the charmer. Moreover, the heroine is strong, brave and I liked the decisions she made in order to make her life better and not have to put up with what she's going on at her job with the boss and his new wife. Talk about a nightmare of epic proportions. I also liked the friendships she formed with the townspeople of Sweetbriar Cove and that they were willing to help her with her new venture. Will she be able to make a success of her new venture?
While the hero, I could understand why he doesn't want to settle down after how he grew up. I also liked how well he's done well for himself in his career and how much more opportunity he has to do even more. Yet, what I liked most of all about the hero is his confidence, his charming ways and I liked how he couldn't resist the heroine, even though he wants to keep things casual between them because he doesn't do relationships. Will he realize that Paige is the best person to come into his life before it's too late?
Overall, Ms. Grace has delivered another really good read for this series where the chemistry between Paige and Declan was intense; the romance was full of heat and passion and shows how good these two are together; and the ending had me loving the determination of both the main characters to make things right between them because they deserve the love and happiness they've found and shouldn't let anything keep them apart. I would recommend Wildest Dreams by Melody Grace, if you enjoy the opposites attract trope or books by authors Erin Nicholas, Belle Andre, Marina Adair and Kelly Moran.
