Jonathon Turner is going to be the death of me.
Maybe not the death of me…but my panties for sure! They seem to disintegrate the moment he touches me. Looks at me. Smiles at me. Talks to me.
It’s more than physical. He’s breaking through an impenetrable wall.
There’s a problem though—he’s younger than me.
Six. Years. Younger.
Let’s not forget he’s also one of my brother’s best friends.
Oh, the other problem I forgot to mention…
I never wanted to fall in love again.
But you know what they say….never say never.

In Love Again (Cowboys and Angels #4) by Kelly Elliott, now that she's divorced, Waylynn Parker is determined to move on with her life by finally opening her own dance studio and finally fulfil her dream of having a family. However, there's only one man she wants and can't get out of her head. Jonathon Turner. Yet, with six years between them, he being younger than her and the fact that he's her brother's best friend, there's no way she can give him a chance. Will Jonathon be able to convince Waylynn that her excuses are nothing to worry about, so she gives him a chance; or will she walk away from her chance at happy ever after?
This series is one of Ms. Elliott's best and I've got to say that this fourth book of her Cowboys and Angels series was a beautifully-crafted, fast-paced read that took me on an emotional rollercoaster because of all the hero and heroine go through on their journey to happy ever after. Will all of Waylynn's dreams come true? What if they don't? These questions circled my mind at many moments throughout this story, of which I loved right from the prologue. Waylynn is definitely a say-whatever-is-on-your-mind woman and had me smiling because of her brazenness. Is she going for shock factor or say what she says just to tempt Jonathon?
As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories, as the heroine has been through a lot because of her ex-husband. It also provided plenty of emotional moments, especially at the critical moment of the story where things go awry in this couple's relationship. There were tears flowing, which had me cursing this brilliant author, but what Ms. Elliott does to make up for the sad moments is totally worth the tears. However, there were a lot of moments that had me smiling and laughing too, as Waylynn isn't afraid to go head-to-head with her brothers and get one up on them. What better way to do that than to talk about her sex life?
Moreover, Waylynn is resilient, courageous and I liked that she took a chance on Jonathon despite her fears. I also liked the tight bond she shares with her siblings and that they would do anything to make sure she doesn't get hurt again, which is proven by the things her brothers do for her. Yet, what I liked most of all about the heroine was her determination to accomplish her dream; a dream she definitely deserves to accomplish. Besides, no way should she let her ex-husband steal anything else from her. The years of being with him were enough. While the hero, he's confident, hard-working, a good brother and I liked how determined he was to win over the heroine. I also liked how supportive he was of the heroine's dreams and that he would take anything her brothers dished out because the heroine is worth suffering a little pain for.
Overall, Ms. Elliott has penned a must read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was off-the-charts; the romance was fan-your-face hot; and the ending had me sympathizing with the main characters because of what happens to one of them, but had me loving how wonderfully things work out for the pair because no one is more deserving of achieving their dreams than Waylynn. I would recommend Love Again by Kelly Elliott, if you enjoy second chance romances, the brother's friend trope, or books by authors Corinne Michaels, Melanie Harlow, Lauren Blakely and Vi Keeland. And lastly, the rest of this series is worth reading too.
I didn’t hear a word that the interior designer was saying. I was focused on the way Jonathon looked in those Wranglers. And his boots. And the freaking black cowboy hat that made his grey eyes stand out. I swallowed hard.
Jesus…could this guy get any hotter?
Jonathon caught my stare from across the room. When he smiled my panties nearly disintegrated. The man had never even touched me, and yet one look from him and I was damn near panting.
Yes, he could get hotter. Christ Almighty.
Before I could stop myself, my tongue ran over my dry lips. Jonathon’s brows rose and his boyishly handsome smile turned into a sexy-as-hell grin. When his eyes smoldered, my breath hitched.
I wiped my brow.
Shit, is it hot in here?
Jonathon knew where my dirty little mind had taken me, and I was pretty damn sure his was going in the same direction. I closed my eyes and tried not to picture anything sexy, but failed. Me…up against the wall with him buried deep inside me, giving me a long overdue orgasm.
“Waylynn? Waylynn?” Ann’s voice pulled me from my naughty thoughts.
Popping my eyes open, I cleared my throat.
“What? Huh?”
With a sweet smile, Ann repeated the question I had totally tuned out.
“The color scheme. Are you good with it?”
I frowned. What in the heck was she talking about? Color scheme?
“Umm.”
The young woman waited patiently, while I stood there with my mouth open like an idiot.
“Color scheme?” I asked with a slight smile.
Ann laughed. “Did you even hear a word I said?”
My eyes darted to Jonathon. He was leaning against a desk in the middle of the room. It was the only piece of furniture that had been left by the previous owners of this space. His arms were now crossed over his massive chest, and he wore a shit-eating grin. Did the man know how freaking handsome he was? That sex appeal dripped off of him?
He winked, and I had to lock my knees to keep from falling.
Bastard.
He knew exactly where my mind had gone, because his was there as well.
Turning back to the interior decorator, I replied, “I’m so sorry. Jonathon was distracting me.”
One quick glance back and Jonathon’s smile vanished, replaced by a shocked expression. “Me?” he asked.
I nodded. “Yes. You.”
Ann was now staring at Jonathon. I could see by the look in her eyes and the way she chewed her lip that she was having similar thoughts. It was obvious by the way she was trying not to look in his direction while she talked. She was probably the same age as he was, and that pissed me off. Then again, I had to remind myself that Jonathon hadn’t been staring at Ann. He’d been staring at me.
“What did I do?” Jonathon asked.
I wanted to say that his hotness was making my panties wet, and the throbbing between my legs was making it hard to think, but I decided it was best to avoid the truth.
“That desk you’re leaning on. I keep wondering why the previous owner left it?”
Jonathon looked down at the desk as Ann asked, “Do you want to keep the desk? It would be beautiful refinished.”
I shrugged. “I’m not sure.”
Jonathon walked around it. “I’m sure we could put this to good use. I can come up with an idea or two.”
His head lifted and his eyes caught mine. I swore they turned as dark as the night sky. I swallowed, trying to ignore the pulse between my legs.
