By Jill Sanders
Releasing February 20th, 2018
Montlake Romance

Activist meets corporate in this sizzling romance author Jill Sanders.
Trent McGowan has never been the guy who doesn’t get what he wants. He and his brothers are making a go of the oil business, and he’s always had a bit of a reputation with the ladies. Only lately, something’s been missing—something Trent never realized he needed…until he sees his childhood crush standing on the picket line, trying to destroy his company. And what happened to turn sweet Addy Collins into a sexy activist?
Environmentalist Adrianna Collins has returned to her hometown of Haven, Montana, on a mission to stop destructive oil mining. She never imagined that the corporate face on the other side of the protest line would be her lifelong crush. The Trent she remembers is better known for flirting than, uh, fracking, and she can’t believe he’d risk his city to make a quick buck.
Now Trent’s determined to prove that he’s not the person she thinks he is. If he can earn Addy’s trust, he might be able to save his company—and bring Addy home for good.

In Never Let Go (Haven, Montana #2) by Jill Sanders, Trent McGowan and Adrianna 'Addy' Collins are on opposing sides when it comes to oil mining. While Addy is determined to stop the destructiveness of it, Trent and his brothers are doing everything they can to make certain their father's legacy remains alive. However, Trent has always considered Addy to be the one woman that got away, and now he's determined to do everything he can to prove that he is the right man for her. Will Addy give Trent a chance, or will the wounds of her past never heal enough to be able to give the pair a shot at happy ever after?

Sitting down to read a book by Ms. Sanders is always a good time, as her books have incredible characters, fast-paced storylines that are filled with plenty of obstacles the main characters need to overcome, and the dialogue is always compelling and makes this reader so determined to learn what the characters have gone through in their pasts and what they will go through on their journey to happy ever after. And I've got to say that this book was an absolutely enthralling read that grabbed my undivided attention from the very beginning and didn't let go until I got to the last page.

The way this story started had me liking the hero and heroine from the moment they come face-to-face for the first time, as it's palpable Trent wants Addy, but whether she'll give him a chance or not is debatable. Since already she's been too hurt in her past by both friends and family and taking a chance on Trent could end up hurting her even more if things don't work out. How long does it take Trent to win her over? Furthermore, the main characters are delightful and I love every interaction between them, as Trent is determined to prove to Addy that he's changed for the better. He's no longer the playboy he once was, but still as confident and charming as ever. I also liked how protective the hero is of Addy, as she goes through a lot in this story including what happens to her father and everything someone is determined to do to her. Yet, what I liked most of all about the hero was the tight bond he shares with his family, and how they treat Addy like she's family too.

While the heroine, she's been through tough times and I could understand why she doesn't trust easily. Her mother and her ex-best friend are real pieces of work and I liked how she stood up for herself when it came to everything she faced when it came to the two women that have made life unbearable for her at times. Really, she's resilient and courageous and I liked how she handled everything she goes through in this story. Yet, what I liked most of all about the heroine was that she gave the hero a chance, as he proves to her that he'll be there for her always.

Overall, Ms. Sanders has delivered an utterly fantastic read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was instantaneous the moment they met and just kept getting stronger as the story progressed; the romance was hot and had me hoping for the best for this couple; and the ending had me cheering for what the heroine did when it came to her mother and then how things work out for the best between her and Trent. Really, nothing can top what Trent does towards the end. What a way to take the spotlight off his brother for a short time. I would recommend Never Let Go by Jill Sanders, if you enjoy the enemy to lovers trope, the opposites attract trope, or books by authors Bella Andre, Erin Nicholas, Melanie Shawn and Jamie Beck.
