For journalist Eliza Bennett, summers in Sweetbriar Cove were her happiest childhood memories. Now that she’s been unceremoniously fired, she hopes the small town will work its magic again and help get her life back on track. She definitely isn’t looking for a distraction like the handsome stranger she meets on her way into town… especially when she discovers he might be the man behind her recent misfortunes.

Cal Prescott is in Sweetbriar Cove adjusting to (or escaping from) his new role as head of the family company. He’s always prided himself on his cool logic, but reckoning with the outspoken spitfire, Eliza, is making him forget his responsibilities - and why falling in love would be such a bad idea.

The sparks between them are red-hot, and soon, their passion is heating up the summer nights. But can Eliza and Cal find a way through their differences - or will this opposites-attract romance burn out before it even begins?

Find out in the latest swoon-worthy Sweetbriar Cove romance from New York Times bestselling author, Melody Grace!

In No Ordinary Love (Sweetbriar Cove #6) by Melody Grace, after losing her job, Eliza Bennett heads home to the one place that always made her happy -- Sweetbriar Cove. However, when she stops to help someone, she never imagined the man would be her arch nemesis and the man that had her fired. Yet, as they get to know each other, it's hard to resist their intense chemistry. Will Eliza and Cal be able to find a way to achieve their happy ever after, or will their differences keep them apart?

What a wonderful and riveting read Ms. Grace has delivered in this sixth book of her Sweetbriar Cove series where the main characters entertained me from start to finish with their back stories and their growing relationship; and the dialogue was playful at times and intense at others, as Eliza discovers who Cal is and gets a little revenge of her own when they first meet and then they discover how far apart their worlds are in him being rich and running a company and her needing to start over with needing to find a job.

Both the main characters were fantastic and I loved how much of a spitfire the heroine was, as she deals with the fact that the intriguing man she helps is indeed the man that caused her to lose something that mattered to her. I also liked how the heroine deals with her mother; a woman that would love if her daughters found happiness with a man. Will mom be able to help her daughters find love? Yet, what I liked most of all about the heroine is that she's resilient and courageous and not afraid to say whatever is on her mind, especially to a catty woman that makes it known how different she and Cal are. While the hero, he's stretching himself to the limits with work and I couldn't help but feel sorry for him when it came to dealing with his extended family, especially his uncle; a man that's determined to fight him every step of the way when it comes to how he runs the family company. I also liked how determined the hero was to win the heroine over because she's important to him and makes him see that he should do whatever he wants to make him happy, even if it means making changes that would make his family annoyed with him. Will Cal do what's right for him?

Overall, Ms. Grace has delivered another fantastic read for this series where the chemistry between this couple was powerful; the romance full of exquisite heat and passion; and the ending had me loving what the hero does for the heroine that gets to her and leads to them finding their way back to each other after their relationship goes awry. However, it was the epilogue that wrapped this story up nicely because it gives readers knowledge of the couple in the next book of this series. I would recommend No Ordinary Love by Melody Grace, if you enjoy the enemy to lovers trope or books by authors Melanie Shawn, Erin Nicholas, Melissa Foster and Bella Andre.
